Labour tackling fly tipping in Northwick Park

Northwick Park Councillors Robert Johnson, Keith Perrin and Margaret McLennan, with the help of local residents, were able to get a CCTV camera installed due to the increase of flytipping. A flytipping camera is now in place monitoring the passage (Byron Road to East Court) which will be upgraded in the future. Other locations for CCTV cameras to tackle fly tipping are being considered including the small alleyway between Peel Road and Byron Road, where there seems to be persistent flytipping. Both mobile and fixed cameras are being considered to tackle areas of the ward where there is a problem with fly tipping.
